Oops Celebrity Pictures heard about Gilles Marini and his humble beginnings. Gillis comes from a hard working family. Since he was eight-years-old, he helped in the kitchen baking for the family owned and operated bakery-beside his father.

Gilles, is, "Hot . . . hot . . . hot." So, it seems natural that he was a fireman for the Brigade des Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris, after high school when he joined the French army and was stationed in Paris.

In His early twenties, Gilles started modeling. But, it wasn't until his late twenties that he began an acting career. Gilles G. Marini was born on January 26, 1976, in Cannes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France.

He is devoted to his wife (Carole) and their two children (his son is Georges and his daughter is Juliana) whom he often speaks of in glowing terms during press conferences and interviews. Gilles admits with a smile that it is Juliana who keeps the family "in line," and that he, "feels sorry for her future boyfriend. . . "

Working his way through the ranks, Gilles began acting with a horror film debut and has appeared on several Advertisements, Television series and soap opera parts. Sex and the City: The Movie, seems to be his more notable series. He did a full frontal shot for one scene.

Throughout season 2 and 3 on Dancing With The Stars, Gilles earned near perfect scores more than once for his dancing talent. - an accomplishment that had one of the judges blushing in her enthusiastic analysis of his dancing talent to label Gilles as, " . . .the quintessential Latin Lover." Gilles is the child of an Italian father and Greek mother.

Gilles came to the United States (Miami) with $400.00 cash in his pocket after he finished his service in the military. He was interested in going to the United States so that he could learn English and to continue his career as a model and actor. Gilles moved to Los Angeles in 2002.

Gilles participates on Twitter. His Twittering began with a comparison of his dog to a, "bat," and if you click on the picture (he gives you a link), you will see that he is not kidding.

He twitters about his family and what he is doing on set and his tweets are endearing for a busy family man, especially his most recent tweets about finger paints with his daughter in the garage, and how messy it is.

Gilles tells all that he . . "is deeply in love with America, . . ."  and when asked about his start in acting and modeling he has this to say, "From each girlfriend back in the day, people looked at me like, 'You are insane!' "  He goes on to described his desire to act, "Only my mom told me that I was not insane.  I went onto modeling and commercials and TV.  As soon as I found out that the camera really likes me and I was able to feel when the camera was rolling on me and respond to what feels very natural, I realized, this is it!"

Gilles co-star, Rachel Griffiths (Sarah), on the set, Brothers and Sisters, who plays his love interest, says this about Gilles Marini (Luc), "Just between you and me, he (Gilles Marini) is perfect.  What a great yummy mummy present they gave me.  He   is the best-natured person I ever met.  He is one of those truly thankful, grateful people bestowed with too many gifts and has the good grace to know that. He is a really good actor."

His shirtless appearance in the Jimmy Kimmel spoof on "The Handsome Men's Club," had fans prophesying about the next, '007' role . . . "Gilles Marini...Is definitely the most handsome man in the Handsome Man's Club....Hands up!!  He is a very intense actor & is currently starring in the hit T.V. program Brother's & Sister's on A.B.C....The ratings have soared since he began working there in October!!!  I sincerely believe that he will be chosen to become the next James Bond.....007,when the time comes.  Thank You . . . As a philanthropist, Gilles is donating the proceeds of his 2010 calendar to the Maximum hope Foundation to help terminally ill kids. He also was involved in the Ride 4 Haiti event. The ride benefited the nonprofit Hollywood Unites for Haiti, which Jean-Louis founded in 2008 out of a need to help the children of his impoverished homeland.

Even though Gilles was nominated for People's 10 Sexiest Men in 2009, speaks humbly of that experience, saying that he was always "shy" with nudity, but when pressed about the full frontal shot, the calendar and some really hot pool scenes, he goes on to explain that as an actor he has had to step outside of his personal comfort zone.
